With its long tradition, research on misconceptions helps to understand how concepts are learned and learning in the disciplines can be supported. Up now, has focused natural sciences, while behavioral sciences is scarce, not say absent. In this study an attempt was made reveal upper secondary school students’ doing sciences. The starting point for were proposals of students. As part a larger study, students asked write proposal maximum two pages. A two-steps approach adopted analysis these proposals. First, using codebook containing both deductive inductive codes, two-pagers analyzed order identify ‘errors’. second step, interpretative aimed at inferring potential underlying errors. considered as which currently missing field.
